Sword Making Class - 3 Day

We’re offering a unique opportunity to make your very own heirloom
SWORD! What can the sword be used for? They are great for having on your wall, use
as a wedding sword or given as a gift to a loved one. Make your own Knight
sword or just to say you made your very own sword!

In this class you will be making an Arming Sword, Gladius or Cutlass. We can make Hema swords & zweihander's, please message me to discuss this further as the guards need to be approved. 

Sword blades will have to be a maximum of 45mm wide. The cross guard and pommels will be made from carbon steel.
Guards and some pommels will have the option of laser engraving for simple patterns.

This class will have a bit of everything from
forging to using milling machines to learning how to heat treat, temper, use a
25ton press, 25kg power hammer, free hand grind and much more. Swords are a
complex product to make and involves a lot of processes and skills.

This class will be a 3 day class & can only be
held during the week.

Our class will be focusing on you making a quality fit and finished
sword that you can be proud of having displayed on your wall or used for reenacting.

We can custom heat treat your sword to be used in reenactment
combat - this will need to be discussed in class.
